Essaouira Day Tour
Two and a half hours west of Marrakech, Essaouira is a charming Atlantic city known for its Portuguese fortifications, Berber heritage, vibrant medina and rich Gnawa music culture. Depart Marrakech in the morning and stop at a local argan oil cooperative to discover how traditional Moroccan argan oil is produced.
On arrival, explore Essaouira at your own pace. Visit the Skala de la Ville for beautiful views across the Atlantic, then wander through the blue-and-white streets of the medina, explore the woodworkers’ quarter and Jewish quarter, and soak up the lively atmosphere of Place Moulay El Hassan.
