Merzouga 3 day Desert Tour
Private 3-day/2-night Marrakech–Merzouga–Marrakech desert tour
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
We will collect the family from their accommodation in Marrakech in the morning. They will travel across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops for photographs and panoramic views.
They will visit the UNESCO World Heritage village of Ait Ben Haddou and have free time for lunch. The journey then continues through Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley.
Dinner and overnight at Riad Gabsi Dades, with private bathrooms.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, the family will travel through Tinghir and stop to explore the impressive Todra Gorge.
They will continue through Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga. In the afternoon, they will ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes and watch the sunset.
After arriving at the camp, they will enjoy dinner and traditional Berber music around the campfire.
Dinner and overnight in private ensuite tents at Merzouga Glamping with showers and hot and cold water.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
The family can wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, they will leave the camp by camel or 4×4 vehicle.
They will then travel back to Marrakech through the desert landscapes, Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains. There will be stops for lunch and refreshments during the journey.
Arrival and drop-off at their Marrakech accommodation are expected in the evening.
