Ourika Valley: Day Tour
Just 30 kilometres southeast of Marrakech, the Ourika Valley offers a refreshing escape into the High Atlas Mountains. Depart Marrakech between 7:30 and 8:30 and travel through the Al Haouz plain, passing olive groves, almond trees, terraced fields and traditional Berber villages. Visit a local argan oil cooperative to discover how women produce culinary and cosmetic argan oil, then explore a traditional Berber house. Continue to Setti Fatma and enjoy a scenic hike to the waterfalls along a mountain trail. Comfortable walking shoes and a hat are recommended, especially in summer.
